As a member of the Shore Road Strders I have to say that the Iirish , fine looking, beautiful Iris smiling eyes waitress at Kettle Black was superb. After having out brunch I opted to give her a green carnation of which my friend was wearing on his sports jacket. Upon standing up and giving it to her she suggested I place in her button down shirt. Plenty of cleavlage that was oh so visable, she made my day on St. Patty's Day 2009... Will be back on St. Patty's day 2010. Craving for more. It was an eye sore..

THE BARTENDER CALLED ME A MONKEY
September 5, 2009: The night before labor day.
It was a simple misunderstanding, but the reaction of the bartender was absolutely uncalled for. He declared his racial epithets with such passion and confidence that I can only assume he's either worked there for a very long time or is a relative of the owner. He was in his early to mid-twenties, blond hair, Caucasian.
My girlfriend had ordered a round on her credit card and he mentioned that there is a $30 minimum tab in order to do that. Now, I happen to work in the Credit Card Processing industry and I know for a fact that it is against their regulations to enforce a minimum purchase order. But I also know that it's not uncommon for businesses to do that so I normally let that stuff slide.
I went to the bar to see how close we were to our minimum order because I WAS GOING TO ORDER A ROUND OF SHOTS so we can all leave.
"How close are we to the minimum tab?" I asked.
"You're pretty close, it's no big deal." He replied with a shrug.
Based on that, I figured he was simply going to charge us the "pretty close to $30" order that we purchased. I chose not to get the round and we finished our drinks and tried to close out.
He then tries to give us a $30 bill for the four drinks we ordered. I raised an eyebrow and asked how much are domestic and imported beers?
"I told you there was a minimum order!" He shouted.
Now I'm thinking he's just trying to skim extra money off the top and I get upset. "First of all, you know that this minimum order is against V/MC regulations, right?"
And he flips his lid. "That's it! You know what?" He says. "The drinks are on me you f***ing monkey. Now get the f*** out of here before I knock your teeth in."
I look around to see if anyone else heard this horrid comment only to realize I'm the darkest person in a bar among some pretty scary looking dudes.
So I took my girlfriend and we left. I'm not even black. I'm a dark Sicilian. I've been called racist things before because of my complexion but never at a place of business and certainly not by an employee.
So if you want good flavored wings with a small dose of ignorance and bigotry, make sure you stop by The Kettle Black and let that bartender know what you think.

Don\'t go here. Owned by a total complete ass hole who thinks smashing peoples heads into parking meters to throw them out of a bar is the right thing to do. Almost killing someone is not a way to run an establishment.

This place if full of the testosterone filled wastes you always wanted to get away from in highschool. I heard the wings are good, though my skin crawls when i walk past.

This place has the best wings in Bayridge! My boyfriend and I have lived here for a year now, and have totally scoured the neighborhood for places to eat. They have a huge selection of different wings......and they are all REALLY good. I've also tried the chicken sandwich, the ruben, and a couple of app's. The French Onion Soup is awesome. Decent beer selection, too.
